Philosophy
Orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions, and arthritis in particular, can severely impact a patient's quality of life in several ways--by causing pain and disability, by preventing patients from engaging in the hobbies and activities they enjoy, and via missed opportunities and loss of time spent in pursuing treatment. Dr. Tapadiya and his staff are committed to providing solid, patient-centered orthopedic care in a compassionate environment.
Office Amenities: Physical Therapy, MRI, Xray, Bracing
The spacious office, located in Fountain Valley, houses not only Dr. Tapadiya's clinical practice, but also a full-service physical therapy facility as well as dedicated open MRI and x-ray imaging machines. This eliminates the need for patients to travel to multiple locations.
Our physical therapy facility is fully equipped, with a trained, well-respected physical therapist on-site to guide you in your recovery every weekday. We help not only with post-surgical rehabilitation but also with conservative treatments for common painful conditions, such as adhesive capsulitis, frozen shoulder, plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, rotator cuff tears, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, Achilles tendinitis, other types of tendinitis, and bursitis.
In addition, we have a dedicated casting and splinting room which also houses a wide variety of braces and orthotics that Dr. Tapadiya is able to prescribe as needed. When custom orthotics are indicated, Dr. Tapadiya is able to do custom measurements and then make a referral to an appropriate local orthotics maker.
Your Appointment
At your visit, Dr. Tapadiya will provide you with:
- A comprehensive discussion of your symptoms and physical examination, as well as your personal goals for recovery;
- In-depth explanation of your condition, including both conservative and surgical options;
- Skilled surgical intervention when indicated, with clearly delineated rehabilitation goals to spur you to recovery.
Should diagnostic MRI or X-ray studies be required to achieve a diagnosis, you may choose to have your studies performed in our office for your convenience, typically on the same day, or you may choose to obtain these studies at a provider of your choice.
Hours
- Office Hours: The office is available to take phone calls Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM. After hours, you may leave messages with our answering service.
- Surgery Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
- Clinic Appointments: Mondays and Thursdays. However, office appointments can be made on surgery days with prior arrangement.
Dr. Tapadiya and staff make every effort to ensure that the office schedule runs on time; however, we do ask for your understanding as occasionally, the doctor must attend to a unforeseen emergency.
