Dilip Tapadiya, M.D.
Dr. Tapadiya is a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is fellowship trained from Stanford University in joint replacement and reconstructive surgery, and also performs arthroscopic surgery, fracture fixation, and minimally-invasive approaches. Dr. Tapadiya is one of the original members of the Bloodless Medicine and Surgery Program at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital. He holds privileges at Hoag Hospitals in both Newport Beach and Irvine, Hoag Orthopedic Institute, Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center, Newport Plaza Outpatient Surgical Center, and Anaheim Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Tapadiya has been in private practice in Orange County since 1984, and is committed to providing solid orthopedic care in a compassionate, patient-centered manner. He is active in the community, having previously served as team physician for the Kennedy High School football team. He also previously served on the Orange County Medical Association Ethics and Public Service committees. Dr. Tapadiya is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, California Orthopedic Association, and the Indian Medical Association of Southern California. He has previously published in leading orthopedic journals such as Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, and is an avid innovator, holding multiple patents pending on orthopedic devices.
Dr. Tapadiya completed his general surgery residency at Booth Memorial Hospital in New York, followed by Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. He then went on to complete his fellowship in arthritis surgery and joint replacement at Stanford University.
